The Republican Party: Anti- American or Obama Haters?
The Republican Party during the last Republican Administration was not fiscally conservative, they spent like drunken sailors. They spent money on two police actions (Wars). The Bush Bi-partisan Healthcare Plan (Prescription Drug Bill) was unfunded and required no spending cuts to implement. Hurricane Katrina cost more than Hurricane Sandy will cost, if the current President is allowed to keep his promise to Sandy’s victims. It seems like the Tea-Party Republicans are willing to allow millions of Americans to suffer all kinds of pain to wreck the present Administration. When The Decider was President (Commander and Chief) he and none of his predecessors had to give up their Presidential Credit Card. No other President has had to fight to get the debt ceilings raised. When the Decider left The White House he gave the biggest Capitalist billions. Less than a year later the current President was accused of having a spending problem. A year after the accusations began; the Tea party arrived in Congress to help make Obama a one term President.
Taxes are the life blood of the Federal Government. Without taxes the Government must borrow money to support the public and private sector which both depend on Federal funds. It makes no sense to cut Federal taxes for twelve year, borrow money for two wars, drug plans, financial bailouts, and militarization of the nation’s police departments in the name of national security, then declare a spending problem. The spending problem created by the Republicans was aggravated by The Bush Tax Cuts before and after the wars started. A blind person could see that Federal tax cuts while fighting two wars was the wrong direction for fiscal responsibility and debt reduction.
The truth is, Republicans don’t now and never did care about debt reduction and controlling spending. In fact the debt crisis is a manufactured fake crisis, designed to defund Obamacare and the Presidency of Barack H. Obama. Capitalism was made in America and no country in the world today can beat America playing the game. There is no economic crisis at the present time and everybody knows that is true. The Tea Party Republicans say they are worried about our children’s future, but not their present time. Don’t believe the Hogwash, designed to confuse.
Those that now still want to high jack the presidency in Obama’s second term; don’t care about the collateral damage to the American people or the Nation. They intend to fight and block him all the way through his second term if they can have their way. The debt ceiling fight this time will not have the American people as hostages which should allow the President to stand tougher for his rights as President. He had to do anything he could to keep even more millions of Americans off food stamps. He could offer up only social entitlement cuts and no corporate or defense cuts, but now since the tax cuts for the 98% are law everything else will be on the table.
The Tea Party Congressional leaders and minority leader in the Senate were so shamefaced that they couldn’t meet the President face to face. Biden’s face with Obama’s proposals coming out of it was easier to face then the President‘s face with the same proposals. That says a lot. I know the Republican Party will not put up with a repeat performance until the 2014 Midterm Elections and hope to have a majority in either the house or senate. I hope by 2016 they will have one or two better candidates than those who are testing the waters now. Maybe I could think about voting for a Republican for President, imagine that.
